2nd Lusophone Games

The coin was issued on the occasion of the 2nd Lusophone Games (2.os Jogos da Lusophonia, Lisbon, 11-19 July 2009) with the participation of twelve Portuguese-speaking countries. The inner part of the coin depicts a gymnast swirling a long ribbon. At the top, the Portuguese coat of arms appears within a semi-circle formed by the name of the issuing country ‘PORTUGAL’.
